Now we have all heard the jokes about Mother in laws,
“We have just had a blessed event in our house - my mother-in-law has just gone back to her own house” Bob Monkhouse
The cause of a lot of trouble with mother in laws is the fact mummy can’t let go of her little solider!! She thinks that no one is good enough for him and no one will ever look after him like she does. This can lead to a very over bearing and interfering mother in law!!
This is exactly what Charlie (Jennifer Lopez) has to deal with in Monster in Law.
After failing head over heels in love with Kevin (Michael Vartan) Charlie has to put up with Kevin’s Mother (Jane Fonda) trying her best to split them as she believes that Charlie is not good enough for her little boy!! But Charlie soon realises what she is up to, and like all Hollywood films there is twist at the end that leaves you feeling very happy.
I do love this film, a romantic comedy that is well worth watching.
